Who Are Parachute Rigging Servies?
Parachute Rigging Services is a skydiving gear repair, maintenance, inspection, and repack loft that has been providing quality repair services to New England skydivers since 1993.
PRS is run by FAA Master Rigger Brian Grady, who made his first jump in April 1990 and since held AFF and Static Line instructor ratings. Brian is also well versed in freefall videography, freeflying, freestyle and skysurfing.
In 1992 Brian decided that it was time to pack his own reserves and, after passing Dave DeWolfe's rigging course with flying colors, he became a licensed rigger in 1993. After a few years of constant repacks and small repairs, working out of Jumptown dropzone in Orange, MA with just one sewing machine, Brian decided to expand his expertise and run a full-size rigging loft.
Now, 10 years later, he runs 2 rigging lofts, one just outside of Worcester and another one at Jumptown, complete with over 30 sewing machines ready to take on any repair. For more specific information, please visit our Services page.
Today, Brian has over 2,000 ram air reserve repacks, 250 round reserve repacks, with over 50 documented saves and no losses under his belt. He jumps a Racer container with a Sabre 120 main, Cricket reserve and a Cypres AAD. He has made over 3,500 jumps with no unintentional cutaways.
When you call Parachute Rigging Services to have your gear inspected, repacked, repaired, or maintained, you will get the highest quality of service backed by years of experience and knowledge provided to you at a reasonable price.
